It is a good idea to chart your cycle every day for acouple of months. By taking your basal body temparature to know if you ovulate and when. If your cycles are late you may ovulate late. You will notice a thermal shif around ovulation. Only your doctor can diagnose polycistic ovaries and a number of tests will be required like an ultrasound. There are natural things you can do to help regulate your cycle. By using ovulation kits you can also test fot LH hormone that surges just before ovulation.
